A future educator named Nikki San Diego enjoys joining various beauty contests while studying in college.

Though many believed that joining beauty pageants is just a distraction from her studies, she still continues to do what she loves and prove to them that she can manage to do both.

After four years in college with five crowns, she was able to graduate taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in Physical Science. She proved to the people that she could pursue both beauty pageants and studies at the same time.

In her four years of joining beauty pageants, she brought home the titles of Mutya ng Libtangin 2016, Bb. Gasan-Turismo 2017, Miss Education 2018, Miss BulSU-SC 2018, and Miss Tanglawan 2018.

Nikki also thanked her professor for accepting her excuse letters for the times she was absent to pursue her beauty pageant dreams.

“Matapos ang mga pictorials na dala ang mga requirements na kailangan tapusin. At ang paulit ulit na tanong kung Toga o Korona. Pinili ‘ko ang korona at toga! If someone asks you to choose between Passion or Career. Always answer ‘I can do both.’ Gawin mong career ang passion mo! H’wag mong hayaang alisin ka ng mga taong hindi naniniwala sa kakayahan mo sa daang tinatahak mo,” Nikki wrote.

In her graduation photos, she wore her crowns to show that with determination, success is possible.
