Some people are passionate about fashion trends and would buy branded clothes which are expensive. A netizen found a place where she could buy branded clothes at an affordable price.
A Facebook page, Skinniest Jean, posted photos of a netizen in an ukay-ukay, a place where pre-loved and branded clothes and other items are sold at very affordable price, versus the same person wearing the clothes she had bought in the ‘ukay-ukay’ with the caption “ . ”
In her post, one of the photos shows how she looks in the ukay store. She wears no make-up, wearing very simple and comfortable clothes with flip flops while carrying an extra-large eco bag. But her transformation moves on to the next level upon seeing her next photo where she was wearing the clothes she bought from ukay. She even dresses up like models; to think that those clothes were from ukay-ukay.
By simply looking at her photos, none would have thought that she bought them from ukay, and they only cost her 10 to 120 pesos for her outfit ensemble – as long as you wear your dress confidently.
“Who would have thought na you’re wearing 10 – 120 php ootd! No on, when you wear your ukay ootd confidently: It’s not about the price tag but on how you wear and style your Ukay clothes!”
She also said that with 15 to 150 pesos budget, you can buy clothes in ukay and you just have to launder them to make them look as new.
“Don’t make inarte with ukay (eg: yuck, eww, madumi) kuskos-laba-babad-bilad lang ang puhunan! Your 15- 150 Php budget in Ukay can go far! Woot woot!”
Some of the netizens, who were also like her ,who likes to buy their clothes from ukay because it is so affordable, looks fantastic, too!.
I’m proud to say that most of my clothes are from the ukay ukay! If you know where and how to look for pieces of clothes in an ukay ukay and wear it with confidence then you’re good to go 😊 (saving money along the way is a plus!)

✨ FACT 4 ✨
Im the type of person who prefers to shop for clothes in thrifts shops (ukay-ukay). I seldom shop in malls, but when I do, its mostly for shoes, bags, make up and Accessories.
Coz sometimes, you just need to know how to look great without spending too much. 😌
