Ogie Diaz throws shade on PCOO regarding Php1.41-Billion budget request

Comedian and showbiz reported Ogie Diaz slams Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) request for a higher budget in 2019.

“Nakakatawa ‘to. Sagutin muna kaya nila ni Ateng Mocha yung hinahanap sa kanila ng COA bago sila humirit pa ng mas mataas na budget.” Diaz wrote as he shared the link to the news article from Inquirer.net.

He also suggested that they should just help the Filipinos instead of asking for a higher amount.

“Tulungan nyo ang taumbayan, wag nyong samantalahin. Kawawa naman mga taxpayers, Mr. Andanar.

“Deserving ba kayo ng increase sa mga kapalpakang ginawa nang routine ng PCOO?”

The Palace’s communications department is requesting for a higher budget this coming year. The PCOO is now seeking a budget of Php1.41 billion. It is notably higher than the Php1.38 billion they had this year.

PCOO is aiming to get Php1,416,645,000. The proposal showed that about Php642,025,000 will be allocated for personnel services, Php699,713,000 for maintenance and other operating expenses, and Php64,907,000 for capital outlays.

The Bureau of Broadcast Services will be getting the biggest share among the units under PCOO with Php378,072,000 followed by the PCOO proper with Php354,967,000.
