On the Monday episode of Raffy Tulfo in Action, father of four kids, Joseph Tutana, complains how his wife still hasn’t returned to their family despite being in the country for three months already after getting back from Kuwait.
“Ako po ang naghatid sa airport, iba ang sumundo” cries Joseph.
Jennelyn Alfonso, the OFW mother and wife, still hasn’t returned to her family. When Tulfo asked the children if they know why their mother didn’t come home, the children replied that it was because their grandmother doesn’t want to give their mom back. However, in a phone interview with Jennelyn, it seems like their grandmother’s hindrance isn’t just the sole reason.
Tulfo: “Bakit hindi kayo umuuwi sa bahay? Kayo raw ay pinipigilan ng inyong nanay?”
Jennelyn: “Hindi naman po sa ganoon, ayaw ko lang po sa kanya (referring to Joseph) kasi nga nagloko na po yan dati, nagdala na siya ng babae sa bahay”
It was admitted by Joseph that the accusation of him bringing another woman is true but explained that it happened a long time ago in 2011. However, Jennelyn isn’t easily swayed when she revealed that Joseph still had another woman while she was abroad around the year 2016.
Joseph only responded with a shocked and unbelieving expression and the kids also went to their father’s defense saying, “Wala po, Isang beses lang po yun. 2011 pa naman po si papa nagloko noon eh. Alam ko naman yung mga ginagawa ni papa kapag nandun siya eh”
The heartbreaking scenario just turned even more bitter when the kids talked to their mom and plead for her to come back.
“Ma, uwi ka na, ma”
“Hindi na ako nauwi kasi aalis na ko, may flight na ako sa Kuwait”
However, it looks like there’s another reason on why Jennelyn decided not to return when Tulfo asked her if she is seeing another man to which Joseph confirmed saying, “Mayroon. ‘Yan ang gustong gusto ng biyenan ko para sa kanya”
“Gustong gusto po ni lola na pag-asawahin si mama sa iba. Tapos sinabi po sa amin ni mama na nagpapadala daw po ng pera yung lalaki sa kanya pati sa mga kapatid ni mama,” the daughter replied.
Nimfa Alfonso, mother-in-law, was then confronted by Tulfo on the phone:
Tulfo: “Kayo po ay mukhang pera at itinutulak nyo po ang anak ninyo sa ibang lalaki”
Nimfa: “Hindi ko naman po itinutulak, si Jennelyn po ang may ano nyan. Rey daw po ang pangalan”
Further down the conversation, it was revealed that Jennelyn never even gave her family money back home and would only directly give the money to her mother.
“Kapag humihingi yung nanay nya, direkta yun, sa nanay niya ibinibigay. Sa amin wala, hindi kami nakaranas ng ganoon. Ni maipasyal nga yung mga bata galing sa pera nya wala eh. Bakit po ba siya nag-abroad? Hindi ba para magtulungan kami?” Joseph shared.
Tulfo then asked Jennelyn if there is still any chance that she would come home to which she replied:
“Wala na po, sir. Para nalang po sa mga anak ko. Ayaw ko na po”. She also confirmed that she really is together with her new lover, Rey, who also happens to have a family of his own.
“Mga anak, meron na po akong bago. Ayaw ko na jan sa tatay ninyo. Sorry, mga anak. Mahal na mahal ko kayo mga anak ko pero gusto ko lang lumayo sa inyo para din naman sainyo.” Jennelyn said.
The four children were heartbroken after hearing this from their mother.
Ultimately, Tulfo invited Jennelyn to have a bonding time with her family at Enchanted Kingdom before she leaves for Kuwait to which Jennelyn said yes. However, on the day itself, Jennelyn did not show up nor even answered any calls. She just sent one text saying that she cannot come because she is busy and is going somewhere.
Still, the show’s team continued to give Joseph’s family bonding time at Enchanted Kingdom.
