What a revelation
Twitter world is once again #shookt after @922_riaru tweeted her heartwarming discovery about her dad.
Since she was little, she notices her father wearing the same old shirt. The old man just shrugs every time she asks why. She even asked her father to replace the shirt with a new one.
“When that polo shirt gets a hole in it, he carefully sews it back together,” she told Buzzfeed. “He wears it for any special occasion, be it a work study event or a trip out with the family,” the Japanese cosplayer continued.
Then, curiosity leads to her sweet discovery. It was a normal day at their house when she decided to look through her deceased grandfather’s stuff. She pulled out a photo album and she found out the answer to her queries for years.
She saw a photo of her father in the same polo shirt with her mother on his side wearing the similar shirt of a different color. Her mother passed away 18 years ago because of cancer. She came up to the conclusion that their polo shirts hold a very special memory for her dad.
