This Man Put His Spare Change in Every Bottle He Used Each Day and Saved Up More Than 50k!

  • A male netizen named Miguel Aquino shared his experience with saving money through the bottles he drank from each day.
  • Putting his spare change in every bottle he used became his usual habit until he found out that he was able to save a total of P 54,653.00!

Saving money is one of the most common strategies used by people to be able to acquire an amount of money in a specific period of time.

Some people do this to be able to buy a gadget, a car or even a house. While there are also a few who saves money simply for their future.

However, people differ when it comes to their saving techniques. Some rely on banks for the safekeeping of their savings, while the others opt for a piggy bank or a bottle to put their savings into.

One of the people who were able to save up successfully is Miguel Aquino.

According to him, he simply started by putting his spare change – which were coins, in a bottle used for that day, until he decided to take it seriously and saved a bigger amount.

Read his full-detailed experience below:

“‘Bote’

Haha!

Aquino never thought that a bottle would be useful rather than being a container for his drink. Little did he know that the same bottles will be his key to save a huge amount of money, considering that he likes to spend his money on different things.

One time, he noticed that he had a lot of coins, which were all spare change he got from various establishments and on his fare. Aquino decided to put them in a bottle inside his locker, which had become his usual habit.

Aquino wasn’t contented and decided to save bigger amounts compared to what he had usually saved. Until one day, he didn’t realize that he already kept a lot of bottles with coins and bills inside of it.

But how did he manage to save a lot of money? Here’s what he did:

According to him, apart from his monthly expenses, he didn’t forget to give back his blessings to God by sharing 10% of his earnings with Him.

NAGKURIPOT-NAGKAPE-NAKAIPON. Satisfied naman eh. Solve na ako!Parang nakapag starbucks na rin. Ginagawa ko rin yun sa iba pa. (Restaurant, Tryk na pede naman lakarin, atbp.) Binawasan ko na luho ko.

Just like everybody else, he was also tempted to spend money, especially when it comes to coffee. But he satisfied his cravings by purchasing something cheaper and changed his lifestyle as well.

Ayun.. the rest is history na.

After eight months of continuing his habit, he was able to earn a total of P 54,653!

Aquino also clarified that his salary isn’t that big, he realized that he only needed to discipline himself from splurging and sharing his blessings especially to the Lord.

Eto tanong.
Anong HABIT AT MIND SET MO ngayon? Tara mag ipon.

Bote Challenge na to.”

Aquino shared what he learned, that saving isn’t actually that hard. If a person really wants to save more money, he only needed to have a proper mindset that will motivate him to pursue what he wanted to do.

Meanwhile, the netizens who had seen his post were encouraged to do what Aquino did, with the hopes of saving a huge amount just like how he did it.

Aquino’s story proved that nothing is impossible to a person with a strong determination. Just like how the saying goes, “If there’s a will, there’s always a way.”

How about you? When are you going to start saving up?
