Kim Domingo is one of the hottest female stars of this generation, and it is not a surprise that many people, specifically men, admires the woman.
However, one of Domingo’s fans took his admiration to a different level.
Melnar Arquillo posted an open letter to Charo Santos in his Facebook account on the night of March 28th, imitating the format of the letter sending to the drama anthology – Maalaala Mo Kaya. Along with the pictures, he also posted his imaginative marriage stories with the star.
According to him, he and his wife Kim were happily living their life as a married couple for almost two years. However, as each day passes by, he began to notice that his wife seems to be distant lately.
Arquillo shared what happened one night after coming home from a tiring day at work. When he headed to their kitchen, his wife didn’t even greeted nor talked to him, which is why he had decided to sit down and wait until Kim prepares his food.
However, instead of doing her wifely duties, the woman plainly took selfies. He said, “Sino ba namang hindi magagalit, Charo? Makakain ko ba yung mga pictures sa phone niya? Syempre hindi… kasi ulam lang naman yun di ba? Paano naman yung kanin?”
For the next picture, he shared how diligent his wife was when cleaning their home back then. Arquillo mentioned that she never does any chores at all, and lets him do the cleaning. He said it was fine with him, if she wasn’t lying around the floor.
Sometimes, Domingo would even step on the broom he was using and refuses to let it go until it gets destroyed completely.
Arquillo also added how he tries to woo his wife despite of his loads at work. He even prepared a surprise for the woman’s birthday but the woman didn’t even appreciate his effort. She didn’t appreciate the fact that he used his own breath to blow the balloons, which his wife didn’t seem to notice.
He was also starting to have doubts whether his wife loves their dog more than him.
The man dramatically shared that he thinks the reason why Domingo had changed is because they still haven’t had a child. But along with it, he explained that the woman takes too much selfies which is why his free time runs out and then falls asleep.
Furthermore, Arquillo even added the statement, “Sumasakit na siguro ang ulo mo, Charo, sa dami ng problema ko sa asawa ko. Sa totoo lang, hindi ko talaga alam ang gagawin. Hindi ko din alam kung kanino ako hihingi ng tulong. Sinubukan kong manawagan kay Gus Abelgas pero nabigo ako. Madami pa daw kaso ang nilulutas niya. Tumanggi din si Atty. Jopet Sison. Wala daw ako sa katwiran kaya wag ko na daw ipaglaban. Humingi din ako ng tulong sa “Wish Ko Lang”. Sabi ko, tulungan nila akong magkaroon kami ng forever ni Kim. Ang sagot nila, i-wish mo na lang.
Ikaw na lang talaga ang pag-asa ko, Ms. Charo, tutal ang MMK naman ang longest-running drama anthology in Asia. Patunayan nating may forever nga. Tulungan mo ako kung anong gagawin ko sa relasyon namin ng asawa ko. Tama ba na ako na lang ang nagmamahal sa aming dalawa? Should I give up? Or should I keep on chasing pavements, even if it leads nowhere?
Ms. Charo, alam kong ni minsa’y hindi ka nag-reply sa mga letter senders ng MMK pero umaasa pa rin akong magre-reply ka sa sulat ko at tutulungan mo akong masagot ang mga katanungang namumutawi sa aking murang isipan. Hanggang dito na lamang.”
Below his letter, he ended it with the words, “Nagmamahal, Nasaktan, Nagsulat, Nag-photoshop,
Milnaryo” along with the hashtags: #kimdomingo #thanks2photoshop.
Meanwhile, Kim herself on her Facebook account shared the viral post and said: “Bravo 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼”
This only goes to show how talented and inventive Filipinos are. Arquillo’s imaginative story and edited photos were enough to make the netizens laugh out loud.
As a matter of fact, a lot of Facebook users have been sending him a private message asking him to photoshop them with different actors and actresses.
