Netizen shares how the Sweltering Heat in the Country Fried an Egg without the Use of Actual Fire

In the Philippines, when it is too hot, we often use the saying, “Sa sobrang init, pwede na magluto ng itlog.” (With this kind of heat, you can already fry an egg.)

But when this Pinoy’s boredom urged him to try taking the saying literally, he was surprised to see that the blazing sun could actually fry an egg!

He shared the incredible occurrence on his Twitter account – which immediately went viral with whooping 18,000 retweets and 52,000 favorites.

In the replies in his tweet, his friends were also surprised that cooking an egg under the sun is indeed possible. Some of his friends even suggested that he cook bacon and hotdog next time.

We can all agree that it will be hotter in the Philippines in the next few months as we are already entering the summer season.

Would you like to try cooking under the sun as well?
