Family of a Murder Victim Expressed their Dismay after a Local Network Failed to Add Censorship to the Victim’s Photos before Posting Them

Usually, whenever a heinous crime is present on the local news, networks make it a point to edit the actual pictures of the victim through the use of a blurring tool whenever possible, before they use them for the news delivery on television and on their social networking sites.

However, there is this instance where the television network had blatantly posted the horrible state of the murder victim – Alfredo Dimaano. According to the news, the man was brutally killed with the motive still unknown to the authorities.

Mhel Villmar Daroy used the social media to reach out to the news team and ask the network to remove all of the pictures they had posted as a respect for the victim who had just passed away, and that could also affect the reputation of the good teacher.

Moreover, she asked everybody else to try to put themselves into their shoes so they will know how offending it was for the family if a victim was bluntly exposed for the public to see.

Indeed it was dismaying to see that a deceased’s unpleasant state was posted on the Internet. Fortunately, the network heard the plea of Daroy and informed her that every photo and video related to the incident was already taken down.

She thanked everyone for their support in this battle, after the network had fulfilled their promise to remove all the unnecessary resources and the interview which had insinuated inappropriate thoughts about the victim.
