Man Sends iPhone 6 via LBC but Parents Received Empty Package!

Reminiscent of a past incident wherein only chocolates arrived to a daughter whose parents sent her an iPhone 6+ and the chocolates via LBC, another customer took to social media to complain about the same courier.

This time a loving son who goes by the name of Ian Gaffud on Facebook was the one who sent his parents an iPhone 6 inside a plastic container. Though the package was intact and the seals unbroken, no iPhone was inside!

The angry customer posted his tirade of Facebook, in hopes that the issue will be resolved quicker than what the courier’s customer service told him: 30 days!

Here’s his post:

Was having a peaceful sleep then suddenly I heard a knock at my room door and our helper told me that the package I sent to my parents arrived but the package was empty. I sent an iPhone 6 with accessories through LBC padala on Saturday. Package was delivered/picked up by my parents at the

LBC warehouse. They were shocked when they opened the package. The packaging, the Tupperware and the box were in tact but the iPhone 6 and the accessories were gone. Already called LBC customer care and asked me to file a claim which will take about 30 days for them to investigate. #LBCexpress Please do something about this.

It certainly was a good thing he posted his complaint online because the matter was resolved quite quickly. According to Gaffud’s latest update, LBC resolved the case in less than 24 hours. I would like to thank the LBC staff for resolving this promptly.

Though these are isolated incidents, for sure, these do have a huge impact on the company’s integrity.

Kudos for the LBC team for resolving this issue rather quickly but we hope they do something about the growing number of similar cases.

  1. This is not getting any better.I mean LBC is notorious for the wrong reasons. The Senate should step in and investigate this. This is far more important than the encroaching of China in our islands and atolls.

  2. dinudumihan lng ng tao ang malinis na trabaho, hindi ba nila alam na company ang mayayari pag ginawa nila yun, soon wala ng matitiwala sa LBC. tsk tsk
