Missing Girl Found Through Netizen’s Facebook Post

Just recently, a Facebook post from a concerned netizen named  Marianne Agnes Labitad has gone viral. She was asking for help to spread the photos of an unidentified girl who seems to be lost and not in her normal condition. Labitad also added that when she asked for her name and address, the young woman would not respond, so she they brought her to Cagayan De Oro Police Station 4 where she will be safe.

With the post spreading like wildfire across newsfeeds, netizens have been guessing if the girl has been abused. There was also an instance where she was thought to be a certain girl, which later on was found to be just having some resemblance.

Yesterday, Labitad posted an update announcing that the young lady’s name is “Cheeky” and her husband has already picked her up and taken her home. She also thanked the people who shared her post, who made it easier and faster to find the relatives of the girl.

According to coolbuster.net, a very reliable source told them that the lady’s name is, in fact, Chiqui (not Cheeky), 24 years old, and suffering from a nervous breakdown which is believed to be caused by personal problems, based on the relatives’ statement. In addition, the family was very grateful that the people who found Chiqui were very kind.
