Four leading ladies from ABS-CBN are competing in this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards for a Philippines exclusive recognition.
The four nominees in the Favorite Trending Pinoy category are Liza Soberano from “Alone/Together,” Julia Barretto who starred in “Ngayon at Kailanman,” Kathryn Bernardo from “The Hows of Us,” and mainstay Yassi Pressman of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
Ella Cruz, Hannah Pangilinan, Kristel Fulgar, and Ranz Kyle & Niana Guerrero, on the other hand, are in the running for another local category, Favorite Pinoy Internet Star.
Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is an annual American event created for kids to allow them the power to support their favorite celebrities across various categories including TV shows, movies, music artists, and sports personalities.
Public voting will decide the winners and fans can vote using Twitter, by using (hashtag) KCA and the hashtag of their nominee. They can also cast their votes through the Nickelodeon website.
Winners will be announced during the awards ceremony which will be aired in Asia at 6 p.m. on March 25.
Past nominees from the Philippines have included Jake Zyrus (Charice Pempengco), who won the very first Favorite Asian Act award in 2012, Sarah Geronimo (2013), Anne Curtis (2014), and Daniel Padilla (2015) who won the global Slime-A-Star award, Maine Mendoza (2016) for Favorite Pinoy Personality and Nadine Lustre (2017) as Favorite Pinoy Star.

She was recently seen on the Wish 107.5 bus by singing her own rendition of Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song”.
Izzy Canillo was discovered in Star Circle Quest last 2009 and has been a part of Goin’ Bulilit for 6 years. He previously won the PMPC Best Children Show Host Nominee 2010. He was also the star of the fantasy-drama series My Little Juan.
My Dear Heart and Wildflower were his recent shows aired last year.
Carl Barrameda has appeared in the Sunday show for two years.
One of his recent ventures is opening up a ramen restaurant with fellow child actor Nash Aguas.
Former Goin’ Bulilit first batch of child stars, Kobi Vidanes, is now a 19 years-old guy. His most recent public appearance was in a video greeting for their 12th Anniversary.
Kristel Fulgar is now an actress and singer. Her recent projects included ABS-CBN’s La Luna Sangre and movie Can’t Help Falling in Love.
Popular actress Kathryn Bernardo was the fifth graduate of the show.
