Mocha Uson has directly denied a rumor linking her to Senator Robin Padilla and claiming that she became pregnant by him.
The actress, singer-dancer, and former government official addressed the speculation during an interview with GMA News journalist Susan Enriquez for the latter’s vlog, released on Saturday, September 5.
During their conversation, Enriquez directly brought up the rumor that Uson’s reduced public visibility was supposedly connected to a pregnancy involving Padilla.
“Kaya ka raw nawala, e, nabuntis ka raw ni Robin,” Enriquez asked.
Uson explained that the speculation apparently originated from a blind item published by an online media outlet. According to her, the item did not identify the personalities involved.
“Background niyan, isa siyang online media, blind item. Isang supporter ni ganitong politiko tapos isang controversial na nasa posisyon ngayon, may anak daw,” Uson said.
“Wala namang sinasabi kung sino. Kaya nagulat kami, ba’t nadamay kami?” she added.
Uson did not confirm any pregnancy. Instead, she explicitly denied that there was anything behind the rumor involving her and Padilla.
According to Uson, Padilla is also aware of the speculation, and the two have resorted to joking about it whenever they see each other.
“Nagbiburuan na lang kami kapag nagkikita kami, lalo na kapag kasama ko nanay ko, sasabihin ni Senator, ‘O, kumusta na po ang apo n’yo?’” she recalled.
Despite being able to joke about it, Uson admitted feeling embarrassed about being linked to the senator in such a manner. She also addressed Padilla and his wife, Mariel Padilla, while categorically denying the rumor.
“Nakakahiya. Pasintabi po, Sen. Robin. Saka kay Ma’am Mariel Padilla, wala pong ganu’n,” she said.
Uson also suggested that her previous sexy image may have contributed to some people readily believing rumors involving her personal life.
She recalled becoming “less active” in the public scene around 2025.
Uson nevertheless remained involved in politics that year. She ran for councilor in Manila’s third district under the ticket of Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso during the 2025 midterm elections but did not win a seat.
She later took on a communications-related role in the Moreno administration in Manila in July 2025.
