Teleserye King and award-winning actor Coco Martin headlined the much-anticipated kickoff of San Miguel Oktoberfest 2025, held at Okada Manila’s Crystal Pavilion on September 20 and 21.

The two-day beer extravaganza marked the return of the country’s biggest and most iconic fiesta, with over 8,000 guests celebrating San Miguel Brewery Inc.’s 135th anniversary alongside a powerhouse lineup of top OPM artists.

The event opened with a ceremonial toast led by San Miguel Brewery President Carlos M. Berba, San Miguel Pale Pilsen brand ambassador Coco Martin, and Okada Manila Vice Chairperson Takako Okada. The kickoff marked the beginning of a nationwide series of Oktoberfest events, with next stops at Paseo de Santa Rosa in Laguna on October 18 and Queensland Manor in Cebu City on October 31.

Guests were treated to complimentary beer samplers curated from SMB’s global portfolio, along with new craft brews such as India Pale Ale, Fruity Wheat Ale, Summer Ale, and Specialty Lager. Adding to the festive vibe were gourmet pop-ups from Las Flores, Café Fleur by Chef Sau, Flipside Burgers, and Purefoods Deli, while SMB’s brand-new Draft Beer Mobile Bar Truck kept the drinks flowing throughout the night.

The venue came alive with performances from some of the country’s biggest names in music, including Rico Blanco, Lola Amour, December Avenue, Arthur Nery, Maki, Brownman Revival, The Dawn, Autotelic, The Juans, Over October, Paprika, DWATA, and Carousel Casualties—among many others.

Adding a sporty twist to the festivities, San Miguel Beermen, fresh off their PBA All-Filipino Cup Championship, joined the crowd, while billiards legends Efren “Bata” Reyes and Francisco “Django” Bustamante thrilled fans with an exhibition match and friendly pool challenges.

“This year’s Oktoberfest is not just a celebration—it’s a memory-making experience that captures the true spirit of San Miguel Beer,” said SMB President Carlos Berba, as guests raised their mugs for another round.

Recognized by the Department of Tourism since 2005 as the Philippines’ largest fiesta, San Miguel Oktoberfest continues its legacy of bringing together great beer, music, and Filipino camaraderie.
