A Facebook post from former sexy actress Vivian Velez seems to have caught the attention of Filipino netizens.
In a post that has since been shared a total of 363 times, Velez seems to have “turned the page” and switched her political allegiance—from hardcore Duterte Diehard Supporter (DDS) to a “Dilawan”.
😂
#clickbaitPosted by Vivian Velez on Wednesday, December 9, 2020
The post, which went up at 10:43 am on December 10, saw Velez claiming to have “opened her eyes” and wised up to “broken promises”.
It has been edited four times, wherein Velez added “Sayang ang pagod at malasakit”, before finally adding the hashtag #clickbait by 1:43 pm on December 11.
“Cryptic” as she made it seem, her comment to her own post made her intentions even more cryptic.
Apparently, her friends were in on her “joke” and baited majority of their opponents—the so-called Dilawans—to send them messages; messages that they chose to keep between themselves.
Digging deeper into the annals of social media would reveal some allegations—and possibly leads—as to who Vivian Velez is now supporting.

Jover Laurio, for her part, merely poked fun at Velez’s attempt at causing a stir on social media.

Others weren’t impressed in the slightest—not even falling for the former bomba star’s old tricks.

Some did take the bait, though.
One prominent DDS at a time. The world is healing.
Yes Ms. Vivian Velez, it takes courage to admit it but it is the right thing to do.

Velez is a known DDS, who’s current line of work includes being the director general of the Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP).

The annual Luna Awards has been criticized by those in the industry as now being “purely Dutertard” with Velez at the helm.
