Ejay Falcon reflects on humble beginnings as a kargador

Falcon’s story serves as a powerful example of the potential to overcome challenges and fulfill dreams through perseverance and self-belief.

Current Vice Governor of Oriental Mindoro and actor Ejay Falcon recently took to social media to reminisce about his early days as a kargador in Wawa, Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro.

The reflection was prompted by a touching moment during a birthday event where an elderly woman, Nanay Nene, waited eagerly to meet him.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Falcon recounted the emotional exchange with Nanay Nene, who fondly remembered him as the young man who used to sell banana cue to her while he worked as a coconut loader.

Falcon expressed deep gratitude to Nanay Nene for her support during his challenging days. He acknowledged her role in providing him sustenance while he carried out physically demanding work like loading copra and charcoal.

The actor also imparted words of encouragement to those who have faced similar challenges or criticisms in their lives. Falcon urged them to respond with resilience and perseverance, emphasizing their capability to defy expectations and achieve their aspirations.

Reflecting on his personal journey from a humble beginning as a coconut loader in the province to becoming a successful actor and public servant, Falcon attributed his achievements to his unwavering determination and belief in himself. He acknowledged that ignoring those who doubted his ambitions was pivotal in reaching his current position.

His heartfelt message resonated deeply with his followers, earning admiration for his humility and resilience in the face of adversity.
