Unkabogable star Vice Ganda recently shared a heartwarming reunion with Sandara Park during her visit to the Philippines, as featured in the latest episode of the online reality series ‘Idol Truck,’ released on Thursday.
‘Idol Truck’ documents Park, a former member of the iconic K-pop group 2NE1, and her fellow K-pop stars as they promote and sell various Korean products in Clark, Pampanga. The series is accessible for streaming on THE K-POP’s official YouTube channel, which falls under the purview of South Korean broadcaster SBS.
In this recent installment, Park and her squad, including rapper DinDin, Jinu from the acclaimed boy group Winner, and former NU’EST members Aron and Jonghyeon, set up shop at a café in Clark. Their mission was to sell an array of Korean beauty products and delectable cuisine.
Early in the episode, Park, who had an active career in the Philippine showbiz industry prior to her K-pop debut, expressed her intent to enlist the aid of her local celebrity friends to assist her team in successfully completing their challenge.
And that’s precisely what unfolded when Vice Ganda made an unexpected appearance at the venue. Park extended a warm welcome to the “It’s Showtime” host, greeting him with an affectionate hug.
“The superstar is here,” Park exclaimed, referring to Vice Ganda, who boasts a significant online presence as a “mega-hit YouTuber” with over 7 million subscribers.
It appears that Vice Ganda will continue to be part of the forthcoming ‘Idol Truck’ episode, as the show, which was filmed in June, has yet to reveal the products that Vice Ganda procured from Park.
Vice Ganda and Park have a history of collaboration, having previously served as judges on the talent competition series ‘Pinoy Boyband Superstar,’ which aired on ABS-CBN in 2016.
