Cristy Fermin claims Careless CEO Jeffrey Oh allegedly faces deportation

One of the major allegations brought forward was the lack of specific business documents, which could potentially impact the operations of Careless in the Philippines

In a recent turn of events, controversial claims have emerged surrounding the CEO of Careless, Jeffrey Oh.

The veteran showbiz columnist, Cristy Fermin, shed light on the matter during the July 31 episode of Cristy Ferminute, leaving fans and netizens stunned by the alleged revelations.

According to reports, the office of Jeffrey Oh in Poblacion, Makati, was reportedly subjected to a visit by law enforcement officials. The visit was said to be in response to various complaints filed against him, including one from the father of popular actor and singer James Reid.

One of the major allegations brought forward was the lack of specific business documents, which could potentially impact the operations of Careless in the Philippines. It is claimed that during the visit, authorities requested documents that would permit Oh to conduct business activities in the country, but he allegedly failed to provide the necessary paperwork. Furthermore, the company is said to lack registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Wala rin siyang SEC registration,” she said.

The situation has escalated to the point where Jeffrey Oh is now allegedly facing the possibility of deportation. The severity of the claims has raised concerns among fans, particularly those of Liza Soberano, a talent associated with Careless Manila.

Jeffrey Oh gained public attention for his involvement as a partner in Careless Manila, the company co-owned with James Reid. The label’s roster includes notable talents like Liza Soberano. In the past, Oh made headlines due to his controversial statement regarding an alleged invitation from Marvel to Liza Soberano for an audition in Spider-Man: Homecoming back in 2016. However, the authenticity of the said invitation was later disputed by entertainment personality Ogie Diaz.

As of now, Jeffrey Oh and his legal team have not released any official statements regarding the allegations.
