Filipinos react to Taylor Swift excluding Philippines from 2024 ‘The Eras Tour’

Apart from these Asian countries, Swift is planning to perform across Europe next year.

Pinoy netizens made jokes on social media after knowing that Taylor Swift’s 2024 ‘The Eras Tour’ does not include the Philippines.

The tour will include four performances at the Tokyo Dome in Japan in February 2024, as well as three concerts at the National Stadium in Singapore in March.

Sabrina Carpenter will join her as a special guest in Singapore. In addition, Swift will have two shows in Australia.

Apart from these Asian countries, Swift is planning to perform across Europe next year.

The remaining tour dates for 2023 will take place in Latin America.

“I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates!”

Swift is not performing in the country, prompting her legions of fans to react.

Since the announcement of the Asian shows, the term ‘Philippines’ has become popular on Twitter as Filipino fans expressed their desire for the pop superstar to visit the country.

‘The Eras Tour’ is a tribute to Swift’s studio albums including her latest, ‘Midnights,’ released in 2022.

The tour will feature special guests such as Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, MUNA, HAIM, GAYLE, Gracie Abrams, and OWENN.

In May, Swift released the deluxe edition of the album titled ‘Midnights (Til Dawn Edition)’ which includes additional songs like ‘Karma’ featuring Ice Spice, ‘Snow on the Beach’ featuring Lana Del Rey, and a previously unreleased track called ‘You’re Losing Me.’
