In 2004, Park gained popularity in the Philippines as she emerged as a runner-up in the reality TV competition ‘Star Circle Quest’.

Following a series of film and TV endeavors in the country, she relocated to Korea to pursue her showbiz career. In 2009, she adopted the name Dara as a member of the renowned K-pop girl group, 2NE1.

Just last month, Park celebrated the 14th anniversary of this iconic girl group known for their chart-topping songs like ‘Fire’ and ‘I Am The Best’.
