Sen. Bong Revilla wishes to appear on ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’; praises Coco Martin

Revilla knows Martin has just started his new primetime television series, ‘Batang Quiapo’. In fact, the senator confessed to watching the program.

Senator Bong Revilla praised actor-director Coco Martin for providing job opportunities for unemployed actors who needed a source of income.

This was when the actor worked on “Ang Probinsyano” on ABS-CBN.

“Madami na siyang natulugan na kasama namin sa industriya,” Revilla told ABS-CBN News.

“Mula pa lang sa ‘Probinsyano,’ madaming nakabalik para mag-artista ulit,” he added.

Revilla knows Martin has just started his new primetime television series, ‘Batang Quiapo’. In fact, the senator confessed to watching the program.

“Maybe one day, I can guest on ‘Batang Quiapo’ and Coco can also guest on my action-comedy series that will start in June,” Revilla said.

“Wala ng impossible ngayon na mangyari sa primetime between networks. Pwede nang mag-collab ang mga actors. They can work together easily,” he said.

Twenty years ago, Martin appeared in the action film “Ang Agimat: Anting-Anting ni Lolo,” directed by Augusto Salvador and co-starring Revilla and his son, Jolo Revilla.

Martin fought Jolo in the movie produced by Imus Productions.

Despite their previous collaborations, Revilla and Martin have not yet acted together in a film. This makes an action film starring them an ideal project. Last week, Revilla underwent a laparoscopy to remove stones from his gallbladder. His gallbladder was also removed due to an infection.

Revilla’s laparoscopy was successful.
