Recently, Licauco said he’d be posing less sexier photos.

During an interview on March 11, Licauco mentioned that he has many young fans and expressed his commitment to upholding his gentlemanly reputation.

“So child-friendly na tayo ngayon… Hindi na puwede yong hubad-hubad,” he said.

Licauco asked for the removal of billboards featuring his undergarments and abs to establish a “child-friendly” image.

Licauco, along with Barbie Forteza, is set to appear in a fantasy series.

The “BarDa” love team first gained popularity in the hit series ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’ (MCAI) on GMA, which dominated ratings and become the most-watched series on Netflix. Following this success, they were also paired up for a month-long special on ‘Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko’.

Additionally, they appeared in Ben&Ben’s music video for ‘The Way You Look At Me’. In this video, Licauco played the role of a man trying to move on from lost love by meeting Forteza’s character through a dating app.

The “BarDa” tandem is set to star in their first film together, which will be a romantic drama produced by Pocket Media Productions and directed by Cathy Camarillo, who is known for her work on popular TV shows such as ‘Halik’ and ‘Wildflower.’

Fans’ fascination with the tandem shows no sign of abating, as they are set to reunite again in an upcoming romantic fantasy series titled ‘Pulang Araw.’

Rumors suggest that Viu Philippines and GMA Network will partner on this project, although details are yet to be confirmed.
