Nadine Lustre became a trending topic on Twitter as a result of her involvement in the viral dispute between Alex Gonzaga and Dina Bonnevie.
On January 31st, during an episode of ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’, Bonnevie confirmed that she was referring to Gonzaga when she spoke about her encounter with an “unprofessional” co-worker, and briefly mentioned Lustre’s name.
She revealed that Gonzaga was not only frequently late on set, but also had difficulty crying for certain scenes in their previous television series “P. S. I Love You.”
She remembered an instance when Gonzaga became angry with Lustre because the latter was able to cry on cue before her. The veteran actress shared, “Nagagalit siya kay Nadine kung nauunang umiyak si Nadine, eh eksena niya raw ‘yun.”
Bonnevie also revealed that she confronted Gonzaga about her struggles to cry on cue. She said, “Alex, you know why you cannot cry? It’s because you’re not in touch with your emotions. You’re very indifferent to your co-workers.”
Ever since the interview was released, netizens couldn’t stop talking about Lustre.

Gonzaga has been in the acting business longer than Lustre but the latter has already won multiple awards while the former has had none.

Bonnevie also recalled having a back-and-forth with Gonzaga because the young actress blamed her tardiness on her busy schedule.
The actress shared, “Sabi niya, ‘Eh marami akong mga ganap eh.’ Sabi ko, ‘Wait a minute, I’m trying to talk to you nicely. Sabi niya, ‘Hindi niyo nakikita ang side ko eh.’ Sabi ko, ‘Hindi pa napapanganak ang nambabastos sa akin kaya Alex, please. Kinakausap kita nang maayos, If you want to stay long in this business, you can’t last kung ganyan ang attitude mo na palagi kang late, dito ka pa maliligo sa set, and you know, you cannot even memorize your lines. Di ka pa makaiyak.”
The conflict between Gonzaga and Bonnevie resurfaced in December of 2022 when Gonzaga discussed her “traumatic” experience with an older co-star on her podcast.
She recounted how an actress scolded her when she was in her early 20s for tardiness on set.
