Male pageant contestant gets viral for saying women are always right; men are always wrong

Despite not winning the title on Coronation night, Benitez brought joy to thousands of people. He was declared the fourth runner-up in the pageant and was also recognized with the “Mr. Facebook’s Choice” Award.

A response given by a male participant in the Q&A segment of a local beauty pageant has gotten viral on social media.

The pageant “Lakan at Mutya Ng Barangay Uno” took place in Cabuyao, Laguna not too long ago, and Allan Lorenzo Benitez was one of the male candidates.

He managed to secure a place among the top 5 finalists in the competition.

Although he had participated in pageants before, it was his first time reaching the top 5.

After that, he proceeded to thank his family and friends for their support throughout the competition.

The emcee informed him that she would repeat the query twice, and he had the option to respond in either English or Filipino.

“Kailan nagiging tama ang mali at kailan nagiging mali ang tama?” asked the emcee.

Banitez answered by saying, “Para sa akin po ang tama at mali ay magkasalungat, yung tama po ay palaging mga babae. ‘Tas ang mali po ay laging mga lalaki.”

Benitez’s reply sent the crowd into a frenzy before he left the stage.

Despite not winning the title on Coronation night, Lorenzo brought joy to thousands of people. He was declared the fourth runner-up in the pageant and was also recognized with the “Mr. Facebook’s Choice” Award.

His response during the Q&A portion of the pageant has become widely circulated, amassing over 700,000 views and sparking varied reactions among internet users.
