Priest reveals new bride and groom met during their baptism, surprising newlyweds

Their story became viral after they discovered that they had met much earlier than they thought.

A couple has gone viral after realizing that they had met way earlier than they originally thought.

Newlywed couple Mr. & Mrs. Marlon and Ken Loyce Panaligan were surprised to find out that the first time they ever met wasn’t on Nov 4, 2017. This is a date that they treasure dearly.

At their wedding held last June at the Parish of Sto. Niño de Lipa in Batangas, the priest, Fr. Rodem Ramos asked when they had first met. The couple mentioned the date but were left speechless by the priest’s response.

Ramos said they were mistaken because, in reality, the two originally met on November 4, 2000, the day of their baptism which Ramos himself officiated.

The dates on their baptismal certificates, as well as the priest’s signature, both validated the information provided.

Netizens were surprised that the couple was introduced on the same day they were baptized. Some speculated that they might be soulmates.
