A teacher goes viral for teaching students mixology

Other students not under KC also asked if they could sit in and learn from her while netizens urged her to start a YouTube channel given the amount of attention her post received

A video of a college instructor lecturing students about alcohol has gone viral on social media.

During a live lecture, KC Lat of Laguna State Polytechnic University-San Pablo City taught her students the basics of mixology. Each of them was required to show how to serve liquor shots properly.

KC even thoroughly discussed the different liquors and their alcohol content.

Since netizens wondered why someone was teaching a bunch of teenagers about alcohol, KC explained that mixology is a subject taken by hospitality management students.

“Hi everyone! FYI po, this subj is included in our syllabus for the subject Fundamentals in Food and Beverage operations. Hospitality Management is a wide industry and learning different types Beverage(alcoholic and non-alcoholic)is a part of it.” she wrote.

Since face-to-face classes aren’t yet allowed, KC decided it would be best to teach the subject via Zoom.

Other students not under KC also asked if they could sit in and learn from her, while netizens urged her to start a YouTube channel, given the amount of attention her post received.
