Vico Sotto hints at getting married ‘next year’

Pasig City mayor Vico Sotto left his supporters wondering whether he was serious when he hinted at tying the knot in 2023.

During his Giting ng Pasig team’s meeting with locals, Sotto shared how he called his father about his decision to run for public office.

“Nagulat si papa nung napatawag ako, ‘Oh Vico napatawag ka’. ‘Pa, nakapag-desisyon na ako,” he said as seen in the video uploaded by TikTok user @acberdin.

In the middle of the story, a local abruptly said “mag-aasawa na.”

Sotto, who claims to still be single, quickly shot down the remark.

“Hindi, hindi pa ako mag-aasawa. Iba yun, iba yun,”

The crowd laughed when he suggested that it could happen next year.

“Tatakbo pa lang ng mayor. Mga next year pa ‘yun,” he said.

Sotto told reporters that they should refrain from asking about his love life in a separate event.
