Jam Magno makes Vice President Leni Robredo’s ‘bangka’ ride an issue

However, Robredo has been riding canoes even before she became vice president

Vice President Leni Robredo has become a victim of one of propagandist Jam Magno’s fake stories once more.

Robredo’s recent rally in the Basilan province nearly drew 50,000 supporters.

A photo of the turnout proved that the event was impressive, but what was even better was Robredo taking a “bangka” to travel to Isabela City. But as expected, critics had to downplay the efforts. Magno, who literally spreads false information for a living, said the vice president took a yacht before hopping on to a canoe for photo ops.

The claim wasn’t verified, but her followers believed her anyway.

Other trolls also pounced on the fake story.

However, Robredo has been riding canoes even before she became vice president.

There is still no proof that Robredo was on a yacht.

Edu Manzano, who was criticized for defending the leader of the Pink army, could care less about what was said about him.

A group of Robredo volunteers in Isabela had to clarify the issue if there was even one in the first place.

The beneficiaries of Robredo’s Angat Buhay program actually invited her to ride a canoe as a sign of gratitude.

The kakampink rally in Zamboanga City was equally impressive. Robredo urged her supporters to convince their friends to hop on to the Pink bandwagon.

“Fifty-three days to go, fifty-three days, Zamboanga. Malaki pa po ang bangka natin, kasyang-kasya pa ang mga kakilala natin. Tinatawag ko kayo ngayon: Hikayatin pa natin ang mga kakilala natin. Welcome po ang lahat dito. Sabihin natin sa kanila masaya dito. Puno ng pag-asa dito,” she said.

“Kaya onward lang tayo sa paglalayag. Araw-araw, kumausap tayo ng mga di pa natin kahanay; kumatok tayo sa mga pinto. Kapag bumili sa palengke, makipagkuwentuhan tungkol sa halalan at sa ating kinabukasan,” she added.
