Netizens go gaga over foxy dad Christopher de Leon in ‘Dekada ‘70’

A recent tweet that showed a fancam montage of seasoned and multi-awarded actor Christopher de Leon from the 2002 film, Dekada ‘70, recently went viral with netizens commenting on how the actor aged like wine.

It’s not yet Father’s Day, but people have only good things to say to foxy celebrity dad, Christopher de Leon.

The 65-year-old actor recently made netizens bite their lips over a clip that featured scenes from de Leon’s 2002 film, Dekada ‘70.

The historical family drama got directed by prolific director Chito S. Roño and based on the award-winning literary piece by Lualhati Bautista.

ABS-CBN’s film production and distribution arm, Star Cinema, produced and distributed the film. It grossed more than PhP65 million in the local box office.

Unlike his Hollywood counterparts, de Leon has never been more public about his personal life. He held a political office years ago and he remains under the spotlight doing TV shows, but he is not the kind whose ‘me time’ photos go public; there are no titillating sexy photos to go gaga for, really—at least, in the last 20 years. 

So imagine the horror of ‘dad type’ lovers who for a very long time believed de Leon qualifies under the category.

However it seems, many didn’t just have the idea about where to go looking, as de Leon’s early 200s films offer a gargantuan gallery of nice views which proves, the Batangueño is truly the total celebrity dad you can ever ask for. On Twitter, many expressed awe and admiration for the actor who managed to keep a good frame even when he was already in his late 40s when the film was released.

“I remember pausing the movie ✨ several times ✨ to just to tweet how much of a DILF he is” Twitter user, Paolo Martinez said.

Raven, who requoted the original tweet that went viral, expressed his awe for the clip’s viewers after just a day. 

He said “1 day old fancam at 185K views,,, no one’s doing it like him i fear,,,”

“The dad bod I’m aiming for” admitted user #LABANLENI2022, who failed to hide her kink for older, sexy men.

Indigo Boy, similarly, expressed his appreciation, saying “What a great way to start your day.” 

Dan, on the other hand, urged his fellow netizens to check out de Leon’s older films. 

He tweeted “If you haven’t seen him (and THE Ms. Hilda Koronel) in Kung Mangarap Ka’t Magising (1977), you should.”

“simping for this character? wait till u get to know his personality” said Jillian who teased new fans to delve deeper into the actor’s character, as he may be more than aesthetics. 

Joum hilariously offered to serve de Leon, by doing all the house chores, “I will serve him food. Clean the house. Wash the dishes. Mop the floor.” he said. 

Cheesy, meanwhile, tries to convince herself she wasn’t crazy for adoring the dad bod De Leon is. “i knew i wasn’t crazy for thinking he was hot” she said. Well, she certainly isn’t!
