A 2-year-old boy was found dead in Estancia, Iloilo, in a septic tank on Sunday, June 20.
His mother was allegedly too busy browsing TikTok when her son wandered off.
According to “Ken,” a neighbor of the child’s family, the boy went missing for hours before his father noticed his absence at around 6 pm.
Ken said they went through the home’s septic tank several times before finding the boy lifeless inside at 11 pm.
A video of the family grieving has spread throughout social media and painted a sad scenario.
The Estancia Municipal Police Station is currently probing the case. Meanwhile, the family is asking for an autopsy report.
The child could have possibly died of drowning.
