Gigo de Guzman reveals his boyfriend’s identity on his 35th birthday

Gigo has been having a tough time lately. His name was linked to the controversial case of Christine Dacera and his mother, singer Claire dela Fuente, succumbed to COVID-19 on March 30

Gigo de Guzman celebrated his 35th birthday on June 24 by revealing his boyfriend, Lewis Eugenio, on Instagram.

Apparently, both were born on June 24, which is also the date of their anniversary. Lewis just turned 22, 13 years younger than his boyfriend.

“24. The date a few months ago when we met. The date a month ago when we made things official. And the date every June when we share our birthday.” Gigo wrote.

Gigo has been having a tough time lately. His name was linked to the controversial case of Christine Dacera and his mother, singer Claire de la Fuente, succumbed to COVID-19 on March 30.

He also cried on his birthday, but for a different reason.

“I have been crying a lot this year. Yesterday I cried again, but for any unexpected reason.

“A beautiful container filled with candies and printouts of IG posts you have been posting all this time in your very private IG account that no one can follow.

“You shared your most private thoughts to me.”

Lewis’s role in Gigo’s life goes beyond providing intimacy as he helped him get back up when thoughts of giving up became common.

“To say that my year so far has been so hard is an understatement; I almost gave up at one point.

“But I made it thru on my own… and just when I thought the surprises were over, you came unexpectedly.

“You made me laugh out loud, made me smile, comforted me when I needed someone, and most of all, made me happy again.

“You make me feel safe; you push all my anxiety away. You make me feel seen; the way I’ve always wanted to be seen.

“And most of all, you make me feeling like I’m so easy to love; the way I’ve always dreamt of being loved.”

Gigo considers Lewis his “blessing and miracle” for all the joy he has brought.

“So before this day ends, I just wanted to thank you for being my blessing and my miracle. I love you babu.

“Happy 1st Monthsary… and Happy Birthday to us [heart emoji]”

When Dacera died, Gigo made it clear that he couldn’t have raped her as he was gay. In the end, Gigo and his other gay friends were exonerated by the Makati Prosecutor’s Office.
