Mocha Uson’s manager discredits Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto’s anti-corruption recognition

He argues in the video that other mayors in the Philippines also deserve the award. He credits Vico’s recognition to his activity on Twitter which made him even more popular in the first place.

Mocha Uson‘s manager Byron Cristobal, better known as Banat By, believes Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto‘s recognition as one of the “anti-corruption champions” by the US State department was rigged by the Liberal Party of the Philippines (LP).

“Napakaobyus na ito ay galaw ng mga liberal sa Amerika kung saan iaangat lang nila yung mga totoong gusto lang nila at sa tingin nila ay liberal minded,” said Banat By.

“May nag lobby dyan na isang Pilipina para pangaralan si Vico.”

The Democratic Party currently controls Congress and the executive department in the US, with “Sleepy” Joe Biden as the President.

However, Banat By’s assumption has not been proven. It was never mentioned that an organization or anyone lobbied to have Sotto acknowledged as such. No existence of a liberal party in the US.

He argues in the video that other mayors in the Philippines also deserve the award. He credits Vico’s recognition to his activity on Twitter which made him even more popular in the first place.

“Wag naman tayo mag gaguhan na si Vico Sotto lang yung nagaanti corruption tas the rest ang sama na ng ugali,” he said.

He also thinks the Liberal Party is grooming Vico.

“Sobrang halata na galaw to ng mga liberal”

The LP is independent of the US Democratic Party and has no direct association between the two that can be made.

Vico hasn’t spoken about his future in politics. As of now, he is only concerned about governing Pasig.
