- The controversy surrounding Liz Uy, Raymond Racaza, and Ging Zamora resurfaced.
- It was after both Uy and Zamora announced their engagements at the same day.
Liz Uy found her name at the local trending topics once again after she announced her engagement to boyfriend Raymond Racaza.
The stylist became the talk of the town as her announcement fell on the same day as Dr. Ging Zamora, Racaza’s former wife, announced hers.
The three are intertwined with a past controversy revolving around the alleged involvement of cheating by Racaza, a well-known rheumatologist, between the two women.
It was said that he had an affair with Uy even though he was still married to Zamora, his then-wife. In a 2018 interview, Uy stated that he met the Racaza when his marriage was already on the rocks.
In an Instagram post, Uy shared a photo with the caption “In all lifetimes, always a yes” with a ring emoji. Her friends and colleagues from the showbiz and fashion industry then congratulated her.
On the other hand, a photo of Zamora’s post also made the rounds online, announcing that she got engaged to her fellow doctor Cardiologist Lauro Abrahan IV. Though the announcement was made recently, the couple was said to be engaged since August of this year.
The issue trended as netizens talked about the timing of the two women’s announcements. Liz Uy’s friends then defended the stylist against malicious comments surrounding her engagement.

In a tell-all interview in 2018, Uy stated that she learned that she was pregnant with her first child with Racaza in February 2017. She also said that she met the doctor in 2016 when they were introduced to each other by Isabelle Daza, who was one of Zamora’s childhood friends.
Zamora’s friend Doray Delarmente claimed that the two doctors’ annulment was only granted by the judge in January 2018, which contradicts Uy’s statement that the two were already separated the year before.
