Mobile Legend is Life!
Mobile Legends and Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) are the most trending mobile games today. It is played by young students and even professionals. Since it is very addictive, sometimes players tend to forget to do their duties and responsibilities in their respective homes and/or work stations.
That is why a mayor in Biliran made a memo order to fire employees who would be caught playing mobile games.
The memo was posted in the Facebook account of Mayor Gerard Espina in Biliran, stating to fire his employees who would be caught playing mobile games during their shift. The issue also came from other employees who complained about that matter.
According to Espina, as a government employee, it is not their responsibility as employees to play mobile games during their shift, as a reminder to every one of their duties and responsibilities.
“Let it be known to all municipal employees that this act is not included in your responsibility, obligation, and duty as public servants,” Espina wrote on his memo.
And he is hoping that this will be a wake-up call for all employee to level up their maturity and be more serious in their jobs as public servants.
“I hope that with this memo, suspected employees will ‘level up’ their maturity in the seriousness of public service or ‘squad up’ to find a new place of employment,” he said.
Playing mobile games somehow helps people entertain and relax themselves from all the stress that they are having from everyday life. But then we should know our limitations on when to play mobile games. As we are paid by the government to work, we should also do our responsibilities and obligations well.
