During Jodi Sta. Maria’s press conference for the horror flick, “Second Coming,” that she co-stars with Marvin Agustin, news popped-up that Jolo Revilla, her ex-boyfriend, already has a new girlfriend but Jodi looked happy and totally unaffected.

It was last year when they broke up and it seems that Jodi has already moved on, showing a positive aura. It’s her work that is giving her happiness.

“’Yung gratitude na meron ako sa heart ko ngayon. Na alam mo ‘yun, sobrang dami rin ng mga dumarating na blessing, opportunities, mga tao rin sa paligid ko, parang wala na akong space para mag-complain pa,” she said.

She’s so thankful for all the love she received from her families, friends, and especially from the Lord for the work opportunities that she has.

“I’m just really thankful to the Lord, first and foremost, du’n sa love na binibigay niya sa akin and du’n sa love na nare-receive ko from my families, friends, and you know, ‘yung opportunity sa trabaho,” she added.

One reason of her positivity is to inspire other people. Despite her business and her career, she always makes it a point to attend her classes every Tuesday and Jodi was able finish her college degree in Psychology.

‘Second Coming’ is a comeback vehicle in the genre. Jodi Sta. Maria has starred in horror movies since 2004, with “Maria Leonora Theresa” as her last horror flick.
