Are Kyline Alcantara and Therese Malvar pressured on their new TV series ‘Inagaw na Bituin?’ The show is an upcoming Philippine television drama-musical where Kyline Alcantara and Therese Malvar will be playing as aspiring singers on the said show.
Therese is known for playing kinder character roles and Kyline is known for playing a villain role as Cheska in ‘Kambal Karibal.’
Their roles were switched in the upcoming series ‘Inagaw na Bituin.’ On their interview during the ‘Inagaw na Bituin’ press conference, Kyline said this is a challenging role for her because being the brave strong villain is her comfort zone.
Therese said this is a challenge for her as well and is excited about a fresh new role. Even though excited, they can’t help but feel pressured by their fans expectations.
“Pressure po sa amin ni Kyline na pareho na kaming nakatanggap ng acting awards. Then sabi po nila, kami raw ni Kyline ang millennial na Nora Aunor at Vilma Santos. Ako raw po si Ms. Nora at si Kyline si Ms. Vilma.
“Nakaka-flatter din naman po na isipin nilang ganoon kami ni Kyline pero ayaw naming isipin iyon, baka maapektuhan ang natural acting naming dalawa. Basta kung ano po lamang ang hinihingi ng character namin, iyon ang gagawin namin.”
