- Jay Sonza contributed to the spread of the Ateneo bully’s fake address.
- The real owners of the house asked netizens to stop sending prank deliveries to their home.
Former news anchor and veteran broadcaster Jay Sonza has been accused of being one of the netizens that have been spreading false information about the viral Ateneo de Manila University Junior High bully.
In a now deleted Facebook post last December 21, Sonza wrote an address that said to belong to the family of the 15-year-old student.
Rully Taculod, the real owner of the house, said that they have been receiving prank deliveries because of the broadcaster’s post.
Another resident of the house, Joshua Mark Taculod, appealed to the public as there has been a lot of products and food being delivered to their home even though they didn’t order any.
In his statement, Joshua encouraged everyone to just pray for those who were victimized by the spread of false information.
“Let us pray for everyone that God will clear our minds and thoughts. In everything give thanks to God for this is His will.

To everyone who saw the address linked to Joaquin Montes, which was wrongfully posted by someone who we did not know….

A certain Jewel Taculod also requested netizens to stop spreading their residential address as her family is starting to get affected by the random deliveries.
