“Wala. Hindi ako ganun” says David Licauco on video scandals

  • TV personality David Licauco shared his thoughts about social media and its effect on people.
  • He also assured that he has no video scandals to worry about since he never had any.

Kapuso star David Licauco shared his take on the pros and cons of social media usage.

In a press conference on July 6, he expressed that people should learn how to detoxify themselves from social media and wised that people still live in a time wherein such platforms don’t exist yet.

“Kunwari nag-hang out ka with friends, ang ginagawa mo nag-Instagram lang, so parang ganun. I wish na tumira tayo nung wala pa tayong social media.”

On the other hand, The Mr. Chinatown 2014 first runner-up also acknowledged the importance of online presence especially in the industry he is currently engaged with.

He added that he always make sure to maintain his fit body.

“Kahit pangit sabihin na nabubuhay na tayo sa social media, na medyo mababaw, kailangan natin makisabay.

“Now kasi, with Facebook and Instagram, halos lahat ng tao nakikita na agad lahat.

“As you’ve noticed, yung mga bata ngayon, kahit yung mga high school students, ang poporma nila, nagdyi-gym sila, nagda-diet na sila. Yung kapatid ko nga na 16 years old, alam na yung intermittent fasting.

“Siyempre dahil sa social media, mas may awareness.”

When asked about his worries on any video scandals getting leaked, he answered, “Wala. Hindi ako ganun. I’m not the type.”

Licauco is currently with GMA series Kapag Nahati Ang Puso wherein he is cast as the best friend of Bea Binene.
