OFW Mom gets a surprise after kids successfully finish studies

• Siblings surprise their mother with an all-expense paid trip for one whole year
• Hans and his mom traveled across 12 countries around Asia

Many parents just want the best for their kids so regarding education, they just send their children to school, not minding all the expenses they will have to pay when it comes to the tuition fees, school supplies, uniforms, requirements, and daily allowance.

This results to a lot of Filipinos deciding to take the challenge of going abroad and being an Overseas Filipino Worker even if they know that they will have to endure the pain of being away from their family so that they can give their children a better future and a more comfortable lifestyle.

Hans Alcanzare was only six years old when his mom went to Hong Kong so that he and his six siblings can afford to go to school. At that time, Hans didn’t understand why his mom had to go away and work far from them but as he grew up, he began to understand her reasons.

The siblings made sure to not put their mother’s hard work to waste as they studied hard and complete their education.

The siblings then decided to surprise their hard-working mother with a “graduation gift”, which marks her graduation from sending them to school. They gifted their mom an all-expense paid trip for one year which included countries like Taiwan, Macao, Indonesia, South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Abu Dhabi, Australia, Dubai, Singapore, and Japan.

In a Facebook video, Hans shared their adventures with his mom in all 12 countries before coming back to the Philippines.

Exactly a year ago today, I went to Hong Kong to fetch my mom who worked there for 20 years. Enduring homesickness and exhaustion to financially support and send us to school. Now that we are all a degree holder, in exchange of our gratitude for all the hardwork she did, we surprised her with all-expense paid asian trip of a lifetime. I know that this isn’t enough to repay her but it is enough to tell her that her journey has definitely not been easy but all the sacrifice has paid off well and it’s time for us to give her the ultimate treatment she, and every mom, deserves.
