American defends Filipinos against racists

  • Jared Ammon Gillet has lived in the Philippines and stated how hospitable and welcoming the Filipinos are to him

An American citizen named Jared Ammon Gillett defends Filipino against fellow American who’s having a racist rant against a Filipina at a grocery store and stated that Filipinos and other ethnic minorities have been stealing their food, money and jobs.

According to Gillett, he got really angry at the words of the woman as he has lived in the Philippines and has been loved by the people around him.

He added that he has lived in Bataan, Pangasinan, and Zambales and the people really welcomed him and fed him delicious meals and snacks while he visits different houses.

He continued on saying that when he got back to the U.S, he became a bit sad because he noticed that the Philippine flag is not visible in a lot of parts of the country.

Gallett then said that the Filipinos he met in the U.S are some of  the nicest and most genuine people and he hopes that the rude woman in the video knew that.

He also clarified that not all of his race are disrespectful like the woman.

Furthermore, he expressed his love for the country in a tattoo that is placed on his arm.

In the last part of the video, he said that he wants people to share his statement around to show everyone that not all people in the U.S are like the racist woman.

He also gladly invited Filipinos to come over at his house and he will cook meals for them like adobo and ginataang bilo-bilo.
