Netizen narrates how they nearly got victimized by criminals while on the road

  • Netizen nearly gets victimized by criminals in Alabang.
  • Policemen state that you can’t file a report for attempted hold-up as it didn’t actually take place.

On June 25, Facebook user Aisha Calvo posted about how she and her friend, Rashani, was nearly victimized by criminals along the Alabang-Bacoor area.

Calvo said that she and her friend was on the way back to Dasmariñas, Cavite after watching a movie at Alabang Town Center while trying to be careful on the road as her car’s bumper and mud guard were broken due to the water pressure of the flood on the way to Alabang.

“BEWARE‼

One of our worst experiences happened while we were inside our car.

Last night was probably the scariest night of our lives. Rashani and I were headed home to Dasma after watching a movie in ATC. Prior to that, the bumper and mud guard of my car has broken down due to excessive water pressure kasi nga baha on the way to Alabang. So nung pauwi na, our Hazard lights were turned on and we were driving very slow with our windows down para marinig namin yung mudguard baka kasi natanggal na.”

When they reached the area of Portofino in Alabang, two men in a motorcycle slowed down beside them and looked at them while smiling. Aisha thought they were perverts but her friend told her that they probably just saw the broken bumper.

A few minutes later, they noticed that the noise under the car suddenly disappeared. Aisha worried that her mudguard and bumper had fallen off so they decided to check. While they were looking at the car, two men on a motorcycle then approached them and asked if they got a flat tire.

“When we were near Portofino, yung village malapit sa Evia, may naka motor na may angkas na medyo nagbagal ng takbo tapos nakatingin samin while smiling. Sabi ko agad kay Rashani, “ano yun mga manyak?” Kasi nga lagi akong TH sa mga ganun. She shrugged it off and said na probably nakikita lang nila na may sumasayad sa ilalim ng kotse.

A few minutes later, lagpas ng Evia, lagpas din nung tulay, and subdivision na Verdana Homes, napansin ko na wala nang tumutunog sa ilalim ng kotse. So nataranta ako baka natanggal na mudguard + bumper ko, I immediately made a stop para i-check yung ilalim ng sasakyan. It was around 11:45pm na nun when may dumating ulit na naka-motor at may angkas at tinanong kami, “flat gulong niyo?” asked the driver.”

When Aisha explained what happened, the other guy on the motorcycled said that they’re declaring a holdup. As the man was smiling, she didn’t realize right away that the man was serious until he grabbed a weapon from his bag. She then started cursing them and quickly got back to her seat and closed the door and windows.

“My response that time was so stupid kasi nginitian ko din sya not knowing he was serious!!! As I was staring into his eyes wondering wtf is going on, yung katabi ko medyo nagwawala na telling me to get in and close the door at iandar na yung sasakyan.

Nung na-realize ko na totoo pala talaga, na may kinukuha na sya sa small bag nya (weapon), dun ko na sila pinagmumumura just so I can have the time to get back on my seat properly and close my door & windows. Thank God that we had time! Yung iba dyan binabaril nalang agad”

The two men went on ahead with their motorcycles and when they passed the two guys, they realized that they were the men looking at them earlier then they were driving slowly.

“Nung nasara na namin mga bintana inunahan nila kami sa kalsada so natakot kami at akala na susundan pa nila kami. And me, always being the reckless one, babanggain ko sana para madisgrasaya sila at di kami sundan, but Rashani was shouting na umalis na kami at unahan na namin sila. But before that nilingon ko pa para icheck pero wala talaga silang plate number. AT SILA PALA YUNG KANINANG NAKATINGIN SAMIN BEFORE EVIA. PROBABLY CHECKING US OUT AT NAKITA NA PAREHO PA KAMING BABAE.”

They went to the nearest police station to file a report but the policemen said that they can’t do that as the holdup didn’t really take place so they ended up going home instead.

Aisha warned everyone to take care and be attentive as in a span of a few seconds, somebody might get hurt and victimized.

“Went straight to the nearest police station na katapat ng Camella, near XOX repair shop. But guess what? DI DAW KAMI PWEDE MAG-REPORT KASI ATTEMPTED PALANG DAW AT HINDI NAMAN NATULOY. At outpost lang daw sila so sa Las Piñas daw kami magreklamo. Wtfffffff. Kaya umuwi nalang kami.

Kaya guys beware of having your windows down. Especially girls!! In a span of a few seconds we can end up dead/robbed/hurt

Sobrang delikado na ng panahon ngayon. When all this time akala ko safe sa lugar na yun (Alabang-Bacoor area) kasi most of the people were in cars! At halos wala namang mga tambay dun. Kaya keep safe everyone!

P.S. I can’t find the right words to explain kung gaano ka nakakatakot yung moment na yun but I hope people get a lesson from it.”
