- Pinoy Big Brother’s Direk Lauren Dyogi shares Maine Mendoza and Nadine Lustre’s audition videos in his first ever YouTube vlog.
- The director expressed his regret upon not accepting the two to be a part of Pinoy Big Brother.
On director and ABS-CBN Head of Entertainment, Lauren Dyogi‘s first ever vlog titled “Am I Big Brother?”, he revealed that there are a lot of people that auditioned in hopes of entering the Pinoy Big Brother house, didn’t pass, but turned out to be famous in the end.
In the video, he went back to two PBB audition videos, more specifically, Maine Mendoza and Nadine Lustre‘s audition videos.
Due to the Star Hunt project that the Kapamilya Network is conducting these days, the director told the story of how he regrets not passing the viral sensation and now host of Eat Bulaga!, Maine Mendoza.
In the audition clip for the PBB 737 back in 2015, Mendoza can be seen introducing herself, stating her educational background and sharing that she’s working in her family business while doing Dubsmash videos.
Meanwhile, actress Nadine Lustre’s audition video for PBB Teen Clash 2010, which is the season where her current loveteam partner James Reid came from, she stated that during that time, her father didn’t have a job.
Lauren Dyogi expressed his regret upon not seeing the two’s potential but maybe PBB was not a part of their destiny.
“Marami akong misses in the past, na di ko napansin pero sikat na sila ngayon,
Iba-iba naman ang paraan ng pagdidiscover ng stars – may stars diyan na may kamag-anak na sa industriya, kaya natutulungan na sila, meron din mga artista ngayon na nailapit sa amin dahil may mga managers na sila. Pero sa karamihan sa mga bituin sa show business ay dahil sa ating mga programang ginawa at natulungan an gating Kapamilya para maging bituin. Hopefully with Star Hunt, this will be the journey to finding that next big star”
