- Christmas won’t be cold for Hidilyn Diaz
Seems like Olympic silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz won’t be having a cold and lonely Christmas as she took pride on his weightlifter and videographer boyfriend Julius Irvin Naranjo.
How did it start
The Guam-based Naranjo met Diaz during a Turkmenistan Weightlifting Competition and that’s how the magic began. The two admitted that they were fresh from a heartbreak, and were too afraid to have each other as mere ‘rebounds’.
Due to work commitments, Naranjo and Diaz are in a long-distance relationship and they are doing their best to make it work. They said that communication plays a vital role in this kind of setup.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder
Naranjo recently flew to the Philippines just to see his girlfriend. Hidilyn is just finishing some work here and they will fly to Guam to meet Julius’ family and celebrate Christmas together.
