  • Bong Revilla gets a nod from Sandiganbayan to celebrate Christmas with his family

Former Senator Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla Jr. gets an approval from the Sandiganbayan, letting him spend Christmas Eve with his family residing in Bacoor, Cavite. According to GMA News Online, the First Division partially nods the minute resolution of Revilla on December 20. He is set to leave his detention site at the Philippine National Police Custodial Center in Camp Crame, 11 o’clock in the morning up to nine o’clock in the afternoon of December 24.

Grounds?

Revilla agreed to the terms such as; communications will be strictly monitored, and that he will cover all the expenses of PNP during his time out. The resolution was also quoted in the said article that goes,

“All expenses to be incurred by the PNP for the personal escorts and security measures in all movements and dispositions of the accused outside Camp Crame until his return to his detention facility, as authorized herein, shall be shouldered and paid by the said accused.”

‘Adequate’ personal escorts are to be issued by the PNP Chief Director-General Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa himself. This agreement was to let Revilla partake his family’s tradions like “celebrate Mass, dine together for Noche Buena and Media Noche, and simply spend time with each other.”

It was also remembered that the court allowed the former action star to visit his sick father last June.
