  • The biggest Korean horror film in four years will finally take its flight to the Philippines
  • The Mimic is set to horrify even the deepest corners of your soul

The Mimic

From the company that brought us the world-renowned Zombie film Train To Busan, they are now offering this film that not only youngsters can relate. This film suits all ages, it’s a great movie to watch with the family. It has touched the family issue that everyone can relate to.

Distributed by Star Cinema, The Mimic, a film by Huh Jung, will hit the Philippine cinemas on September 13. Even though it’s almost a month after its release in Korea, it is still expected to be mobbed by a lot of moviegoers. Of course, starred by Korea’s horror queen, Yum Jung-ah together with Park Hyuk-kwon and Shin Rin-ah.

The movie revolves around a mother and the “Tiger of Mt. Jang”, a legendary ghost which mimics the sound of humans. It tells the story of a mother who lost his son and takes in a young girl whom she met near Mt. Jang. The girl then reminded the mother her son.

She decided to bring the girl home, still longing for his son and expecting that the girl will fill up the empty pieces of her heart. Gradually, the girl mimics the mother’s son. Even disguising as his voice and look. This is when the strange incidents started to happen. The question remains, will the mother find her missing son? Will her family ever survive the atrocities caused by the Mimic?

If I was you, I’ll be hitting the cinemas on September 13!
