It was during the 2nd-anniversary gig of Move Forward Productions at B-Side Makati when former The Voice PH contestant Kai Honasan and long-time boyfriend Eco Del Rio got engaged! The two were in a band performing for the event, Kai for Autotelic and Eco for Chicosci.
The Story
When Autotelic started to play their set, little did Kai know that her boyfriend was setting up a mob marriage proposal.
And when they were performing their single Hanap, Eco went on-stage and popped the question. More surprisingly, the whole crowd, and event crew knew about the proposal. In the end, Kai was left in tears as she answered “Yes”!
Father-Daughter moment
Kai’s father, the former Armed Forces Officer Gringo Honasan said that it was actually her daughter’s dream proposal. But what’s more dreamy than your father sharing his heartwarming message for you and the man you’re gonna marry.
Senator Gringo Honasan posted this instantly on his Twitter account extending his love for his daughter and future son-in-law.
On the other hand, Kai was quick to reply and share her biggest fear in the world. She was so happy that her ‘Papa’ can walk her down the aisle as they get married.
Gringo responded on his Facebook account and netizens are crying about it. Who wouldn’t want to get a touching message from their parents after all.
The newly-engaged couple are now taking a rest after the whole crazy moment they had and are now enjoying a new chapter of their life together . Congratulations Kai and Eco!
