Slowly, Brazil is getting eaten up by the winter season again and the stray dogs can’t cope up.

Noticing the uncomfortable dogs walking to and from, the kind people at a local bus station decided to go heroes and heroines. Employees at the Barreirinha Bus Terminal has opened their gates and created a space at their facility where dogs can stay and cozy up.

It is also a sanctuary for the dogs where they can be looked after, and be provided with food and water. Also, the staff got them animal beds out of old tires covered with blankets,

This gesture might not sound much to everyone, but to these dogs who almost froze on the streets, it’s like staying in a hotel. These adorable ones have been through a lot, fighting different cruelties this world offered them.

Most probably, this is the first time humans showed them some love and care. Three of the dogs rescued were named MaxPitoco, and Zainho. You can see in their eyes the gratefulness.

This heroic deeds caught the attention of a local politician and self-proclaimed animal lover, Fabiane Rosa who sent a letter to the company saying,

“Congratulations to the terminal staff, everyone understands that these angels are there and have a right to be… So many companies in Curitiba could follow this example, adopting a pet. Of course it is not the ideal, but at least there are those who are looking after them.”
