Valentine’s Day ends in tragedy after one woman’s alleged suicide at SM Megamall

Shoppers at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City, Philippines, who were enjoying a fun-filled Valentine’s Day were shocked to see the lifeless body of a woman wearing a green shirt and khaki pants sprawled on the floor of the mall’s lowest floor.

As of press time, the woman’s name has not been released and no other details have been made available. Photos of the woman shocked netizens as they soon became viral on social media.

Several versions of the story also appeared on social media, with some people claiming that the woman did not jump from one of the upper floors (reports are conflicting but it was believed she came from the fourth or fifth floor) but was merely cavorting with friends and sitting on the railing when she accidentally lost her balance and slipped towards the ground while shouting “Walang forever! (There is no forever!)

Some of those who witnessed the incident claimed that it took the guards a long time before they did something and no even tried to help the woman for some time.
