VIDEO: Teen wakes up one day after being buried; declared dead a second time

Relatives of a 16-year-old girl from the Honduras broke open her tomb and coffin after her husband heard her screams one day after she was buried.

Neysi Perez, who was three months pregnant, passed out when she was about to go to the toilet outside their house. She was found foaming at the mouth which her relatives believed was caused by an evil spirit. They called a priest to conduct an exorcism. When she seemed lifeless, they brought her to the hospital where she was eventually declared clinically dead after three hours. She was then buried in her wedding dress.

However, according to the Dailymail, she may have just had a panic attack after she heard a burst of gunfire.

A day after she was buried her husband, Rudy Gonzales, visited her tomb and heard her screaming from inside the grave.

“As I put my hand on her grave I could hear noises inside. I heard banging, then I heard her voice. She was screaming for help. It had already been a day since we buried her. I couldn’t believe it. I was ecstatic, full of hope.”

Rudy then called a cemetery worker that afternoon who broke open the tomb with a sledgehammer. Neysi’s relatives then rushed to open her coffin. They found the glass viewing window was broken, and Neysi’s body still warm with bruises on the forehead and her fingers.

Neysi was then brought to the hospital where the doctors tried to revive her. Unfortunately, she was again declared clinically dead and was returned to the cemetery and buried again.

The doctors believed that Neysi may have had a severe panic attack which caused her heart to stop beating temporarily, which led her to be declared clinically dead the first time. Her relatives think that Neysi may have ultimately died because of the lack of oxygen when she woke up in her tomb. Neysi’s mother Maria said the medics were to blame for signing her death certificate quickly.
