INC convoy allegedly causes traffic jam in Cainta

A Facebook video posted by Essex Pol showed a convoy of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) members allegedly causing a traffic jam at the Cainta junction in front of the Cainta Public Market in Rizal on Saturday, September 25.

In the footage, it can be seen that a traffic enforcer present at the incident allowed the small convoy to counterflow the traffic. According to Pol, an ambulance even had to give way just to let the convoy pass.

A highway patrol officer or a “hagad” even escorted the group during the incident.

In the caption, Pol wrote: “A small group of Iglesia Ni Cristo vehicles causing traffic. An ambulance carrying a patient even had to give way to their small convoy. I just had to park and record this.”

On September 26, Saturday, the powerful church held its biggest evangelical mission at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan to woo non-members in the face of its worst crisis in its 101-year history.

Prior to the event, Bulacan police director Senior Supt. Ferdinand Divina announced that he will be deploying 500 police men to ease the traffic situation.

Pol’s video has gone viral amassing more than 13,000 shares on Facebook.
